Abu Hurairah said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite in Fajr on Fridays: (Alif Lam Meem ` [This is] the revelation of...), As-Sajdah, and (Has there [not] come upon man...)." Ibn Kathir: 6/358.
Question: Reflect on Surat As-Sajdah, then try to find the wisdom of reciting it in Fajr prayer on Fridays.

Allah states that this noble Book has been sent down from the Lord of the worlds, Who cares for them and showers them with His blessings. One of the greatest means through which Allah educated, cared for and guided people is this Book, in which is all that could put their affairs straight and perfect their manners. Al-Saadi: 653.
Question: What is meant by the Lordship description in (Lord of the worlds)?

This Surah begins by praising the Quran, as it is the cumulation of guidance of which this and all Surahs contain. Since the rejection of this Quran is the cumulation of misguidance of the misguided, Allah has made the Quran a guidance for mankind, and He selected the Arabs for the honor of being the first to receive this Book. Ibn Ashur: 21/205.
Question: The verse praises the Holy Quran. Explain.

Meaning: You do not listen to these admonishments, hence you do not take heed; or you listen to them, but you do not take heed. In the first case, the censure is for both, not listening and not taking heed. In the second case, the censure is for not taking heed despite listening. Al-Alusi: 11/118.
Question: When does one benefit from listening to an admonishment?

Meaning: O mankind, you do not have an ally who can protect you against Allah if He intends to harm you, nor an intercessor who can intercede with Him for you if He punishes you for disobeying Him. So, take Him as an ally, and seek help with your affairs through His obedience, as He will protect you against anyone who intends to harm you, but no one can ward off what He intends, because no one can vanquish Him. Al-Tabari: 20/166.
Question: The heart and body should be attached only to Allah. Explain in light of this verse.

This indicates that people's plans of matters are useless against Allah's management. A blissful servant is one who forgoes his planning, and become content with Allah’s management of matters. Al-Alusi: 11/138.
Question: What is the benefit of reliance upon Allah?

These attributes of Allah, (The All-Mighty, the Most Merciful), come after mentioning that He created the creation by His capability without help, hence, His attribute, the All Mighty -which means Self-Sufficient- is manifested. Moreover, He created them in graceful conditions, hence He is the Most Merciful to them, as He made their living suitable for them, providing them with good, and protecting them from evil. Ibn Ashur: 21 /215.
Question: This verse ends with these attributes of Allah, (The All-Mighty, the Most Merciful). Why?
