Ash-Sharh Verses 5 - 6

Even though the word (hardship) is repeated twice, however, in the Arabic text, it is in a definite form which makes it one thing, while the word for (ease) is repeated in an indefinite form which makes it two things. Hardship is bounded by two forms of ease; one before and one after. Hence, a single hardship will never defeat two forms of ease. Ibn Al-Qayim: 3/333.
Question: Ease is much wider than hardship. Explain in light of these two verses.

At-Tin Verses 0 - 4

(The best form): Is his body proportion and perfect youthfulness. Abu Bakr bin Tahir said: "Man is adorned with intellect, performs what is required of him, guided by his sound judgment, stands upright, and eats his food with his hand." He is Allah's best creation inwardly and outwardly due to the beauty of his form, the shape of his head and what it consists of, his chest and what it holds, his belly and what it contains, his hands and how they strike, and his feet and how they carry him. Al-Qurtubi: 22/368-369.
Question: Allah reminds man that He created him in the best form. Why? What are the examples of that?

At-Tin Verses 0 - 5

From the context, the apparent meaning of this verse indicates the status of the disbeliever on the Day of Resurrection, where his image will be most hideous and ugly after it was the most beautiful and in the best shape because of his ungratefulness to Allah for His blessing. Al-Alusi: 30/176.
Question: Who will be returned to the lowest of the low?

At-Tin Verses 0 - 8

Meaning: Is He not the Most Just of all judges Who does not oppress or do any injustice to anyone? Part of His justice is that He will establish the Day of Resurrection, where He will give retribution to the person who was wronged in this life against whoever wronged him. Ibn Kathir: 4/529.
Question: This verse proves the resurrection and recompense. How?

Al-Alaq Verses 3 - 4

Among the methods of teachings is teaching by the pen, which is writing, is singled out for mention because it preserves knowledge and keeps records of religious and worldly affairs. Ibn Juzay: 2/590.
Question: Teaching by the pen is singled out for mention. Why?

Al-Alaq Verses 3 - 5

Allah honored man by giving him knowledge, which was the distinguishing status that the Father of Humanity, Adam (u), had over the angels. Ibn Kathir: 4/530.
Question: What is the status that distinguishes Adam (u) and his descendants over the other created beings?

Al-Alaq Verses 6 - 8

Allah states that when a person sees himself as self-sufficient and having an abundance of wealth, he becomes pleased, evil, scornful, and transgressive. Then, Allah threatens, warns and admonishes him by saying: (Indeed, to your Lord is the return), unto Allah is the final destination and return, and He will hold you accountable for your wealth, as to from where you obtained it and how did you spend it. Ibn Kathir: 4/531.
Question: When a person becomes self-sufficient, what must he do?
