Al-Buruj Verses 0 - 3

Among Allah's creation, there is the witness and the witnessed, by which the world order is set. Hence, if a created being can become a witness, keeper, and watchful over others, then surely the Creator, the Almighty, is a Witness, all Aware of them, and Watchful over them. Ibn Al-Qayim: 3/278.
Question: Allah states that among His creation, there is the witness and the witnessed. Why?

Al-Buruj Verses 4 - 5

Our scholars said: In this verse, Allah informs the believers of this Ummah about the adversities faced by the believers before them, to console them. The Prophet (ﷺ) related to them the story of the Boy, [Sahih Muslim-3005], so they would endure adversities and hardships patiently, and follow the example of the Boy in his patience, strong resolve, and sacrifice of himself to make known his message and bring people into Allah's religion, with his young age and great patience. Al-Qurtubi: 22/192-193.
Question: Why does Allah relate to us the story of the people of the Trench?

Al-Buruj Verses 0 - 9

(To Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth), as He created them and all who dwell in them are His servants, and He controls them as the owner controls what he owns. (And Allah is witness over all things) because He knows, hears and sees all. Should these rebellious ones who oppose Allah not fear that the Almighty, the Omnipotent, wreak vengeance, or do they not realize that they are all servants of Him, and no one has any power over anyone else except with the permission of the Sovereign? Or is it hidden from them that Allah encompasses all what they do and will requite them for their actions? Rather, the disbelievers live in delusion and the wrongdoers are ignorant and blind to the straight path. Al-Saadi: 918.
Question: Allah mentions that the dominion of the heavens and earth belongs to Him after relating the story of the people of the Trench. Why?

Al-Buruj Verses 0 - 10

Al-Hasan Al-Basri said: "Look at this generosity and kindness; these people killed Allah's allies and He still invites them to repent and seek forgiveness." Ibn Kathir: 4/497.
Question: Which part of this verse indicates the great generosity of Allah?

Al-Buruj Verses 0 - 14

It is said that affection is pure love. There is a subtle meaning here, for alongside His name (the Most Affectionate) He mentions His name (the All-Forgiving), to indicate that if the sinners repent to Allah and turn to Him, He will forgive their sins and love them. Al-Saadi: 919.
Question: What is the secret of joining these two names of Allah, (All-Forgiving, the Most Affectionate)?

Al-Buruj Verses 17 - 18

This is a consolation to the Prophet (ﷺ) that the disbelievers among his people would meet the fate of the soldiers. Meaning: You have received the soldiers' news and knew what they did and what was done to them, so remind your people of the days of Allah, and warn them, lest befall them what had befallen those before them. Al-Alusi: 30/39.
Question: This verse contains a threat and a warning to the disbelievers of Quraish. Explain.

Al-Buruj Verses 21 - 22

([inscribed] in a Preserved Tablet), protected from alteration, addition or deletion, and is guarded against the devils. It is the Preserved Tablet in which Allah has written down all things. This is indicative of the majesty and greatness of the Quran, and its high esteem with Allah. Al-Saadi: 919.
Question: Discuss the status of the Quran with Allah, the Almighty.
