Al-Insan Verses 0 - 26

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَٱسۡجُدۡ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحۡهُ لَيۡلٗا طَوِيلًا ٢٦

The mention of prostration to indicate the prayer implies that prostration is the best act in prayer, and the night is the time for submissiveness. Al-Biqai: 21/157.
Question: The prayer is referred to as prostration. Why?

Al-Insan Verses 0 - 26

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَٱسۡجُدۡ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحۡهُ لَيۡلٗا طَوِيلًا ٢٦

Meaning: Prostrate to Him often, and that can only be done by offering many prayers. Al-Saadi: 903.
Question: This verse encourages praying at night often. How?

Al-Insan Verses 0 - 28

نَّحۡنُ خَلَقۡنَٰهُمۡ وَشَدَدۡنَآ أَسۡرَهُمۡۖ وَإِذَا شِئۡنَا بَدَّلۡنَآ أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ تَبۡدِيلًا ٢٨

(It is We Who created them) from nothing (and strengthened their build), We made them strong and perfected their creation, with sinews, veins, arteries, and visible and hidden strengths, until their bodies were perfected and completed, and they were able to do anything they wanted. The One Who created them in this manner is able to recreate them after their death to requite them. Al-Saadi: 903.
Question: Man's life indicates that resurrection is possible on the Last Day. How?

Al-Insan Verses 29 - 30

إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذۡكِرَةٞۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلٗا ٢٩ وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمٗا ٣٠

(So let anyone who wills may take a way to his Lord), taking the way to Allah is tied to the will of man, but the will of man is tied to the Will of Allah in the following verse: (But you cannot will unless Allah wills), which is Allah's decree and destiny. Al-Shanqiti: 8/399.
Question: These two verses contain one of the pillars of faith. What is it?

Al-Mursalat Verses 1 - 5

وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَٰتِ عُرۡفٗا ١ فَٱلۡعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصۡفٗا ٢ وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشۡرٗا ٣ فَٱلۡفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرۡقٗا ٤ فَٱلۡمُلۡقِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا ٥

The oath is long, keeping the listener in suspense and wanting to know what it is about. Ibn Ashur: 29/419.
Question: This Surah contains a long oath. Why?

Al-Mursalat Verses 0 - 14

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ١٤

Meaning: The Day of Judgment is an event worthy of greatness and of being inquired about. All other great events do not compare to it, and none among the creation can ever reach the knowledge of when or how it will manifest because there is nothing like it. Al-Biqai: 21/170.
Question: What does the inquiry in this verse indicate?

Al-Mursalat Verses 0 - 15

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ١٥

This is repeated after each verse to divide the punishment commensurate with their denial, where there will be a punishment for each denial. Al-Qurtubi: 21/501-502.
Question: This verse is repeated after each verse. Why?
