ﭦ ﭧ ٨ ٨ ﭩ ﭪ ﭫ ﭬ ﭭ ﭮ ﭯ ﭰ ﭱ ﭲ
٩ ٩ ﭴ ﭵ ﭶ ﭷ ﭸ ﭹ ﭺ ١٠ ١٠ ﭼ ﭽ ﭾ ﭿ
ﮀ ﮁ ﮂ ﮃ ١١ ١١ ﮅ ﮆ ﮇ ﮈ ﮉ ١٢ ١٢
ﮋ ﮌ ﮍ ﮎ ﮏ ﮐ ﮑ ﮒ ﮓ ﮔ ﮕ ١٣ ١٣
ﮗ ﮘ ﮙ ﮚ ﮛ ﮜ ١٤ ١٤ ﮞ ﮟ ﮠ
ﮡ ﮢ ﮣ ﮤ ﮥ ١٥ ١٥ ﮧ ﮨ ﮩ ﮪ ﮫ ١٦ ١٦
ﮭ ﮮ ﮯ ﮰ ﮱ ﯓ ١٧ ١٧ ﯕ ﯖ ﯗ ﯘ
١٨ ١٨ ﯚ ﯛ ﯜ ﯝ ﯞ ﯟ ﯠ ﯡ ﯢ ﯣ
١٩ ١٩ ﯥ ﯦ ﯧ ﯨ ﯩ ﯪ ﯫ ٢٠ ٢٠ ﯭ ﯮ ﯯ
ﯰ ﯱ ﯲ ﯳ ﯴ ﯵ ﯶ ﯷ ﯸ ﯹ
ﯺ ٢١ ٢١ ﯼ ﯽ ﯾ ﯿ ﰀ ﰁ ﰂ ﰃ ٢٢ ٢٢ ﰅ
ﰆ ﰇ ﰈ ﰉ ﰊ ٢٣ ٢٣ ﰌ ﰍ ﰎ ﰏ ﰐ
ﰑ ﰒ ﰓ ﰔ ٢٤ ٢٤ ﰖ ﰗ ﰘ ﰙ ﰚ ٢٥ ٢٥
يُوفُونَ بِٱلنَّذۡرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوۡمٗا كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسۡتَطِيرٗا ٧
Meaning: They fulfill what they commit themselves to for the sake of Allah. If they fulfill vows, which are not obligatory upon them unless they take that upon themselves, it is more likely that they will fulfill their commitment to basic obligatory duties. Al-Saadi: 901.
Question: Allah praises the righteous for fulfilling their vows, what does that indicate?
وَيُطۡعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسۡكِينٗا وَيَتِيمٗا وَأَسِيرًا ٨ إِنَّمَا نُطۡعِمُكُمۡ لِوَجۡهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمۡ جَزَآءٗ وَلَا شُكُورًا ٩
Whoever asks needy people to supplicate Allah for him or to compliment him, will not be part of this verse. Ibn Taimyah: 6/441.
Question: When will feeding poor people be for Allah's sake only?
وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُواْ جَنَّةٗ وَحَرِيرٗا ١٢
Meaning: For enduring hunger patiently, and giving others preference over themselves. Ibn Juzay: 2/519.
Question: In this verse, what is the trait for which the righteous entered Paradise?
وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُواْ جَنَّةٗ وَحَرِيرٗا ١٢ مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِۖ لَا يَرَوۡنَ فِيهَا شَمۡسٗا وَلَا زَمۡهَرِيرٗا ١٣
Since patience involves holding oneself against what it dislikes and enduring roughness, tiredness, and heat, the reward will be Paradise which has wide spaces, soft silk garments, and reclining that brings comfort, and shades. Ibn Taimyah: 6/44.
Question: The bliss of Paradise is based on spaciousness and softness. Why?
۞وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَٰنٞ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ حَسِبۡتَهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤٗا مَّنثُورٗا ١٩
Boys are the best for serving others, as they are light and quick, and because the served person does not shy away from commanding and forbidding them. Ibn Ashur: 29/397.
Question: Boys will be serving the people of Paradise. Why?
فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ
Meaning: Just as you have been honored by what has been revealed to you, then be patient with Allah's decree and decision, and know that He will manage your affairs in a good manner. Ibn Kathir: 4/458.
Question: What is the benefit of linking patience to Allah's decree?
فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعۡ مِنۡهُمۡ ءَاثِمًا أَوۡ كَفُورٗا ٢٤ وَٱذۡكُرِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ بُكۡرَةٗ وَأَصِيلٗا ٢٥
Meaning: Be patient in accepting the decree of Allah without complaining about it, and in accepting His religious rulings, and adhere to them, and do not let any obstacle prevent you from doing so. Since worshiping Allah and remembering Him a great deal would help his patience, Allah enjoined that upon him and said: (And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and even). Al-Saadi: 902.
Question: After enjoining patience, Allah enjoins the mention of His name in the morning and evening. Why?
