The people of the left [disbelievers] are described as living in luxuries since almost all of them enjoy the blessings of eating, drinking, and women. Moreover, they limited their thinking to worldly pleasures, which kept them from reflecting on the truth to which the Messenger (ﷺ) used to call them. Living in luxuries was one of the reasons for their mentioned punishment. Ibn Ashur: 27/306.
Question: Living in luxuries can be risky and punishable in the Hereafter. Explain.
