ﭤ ﭥ ﭦ ﭧ ﭨ ٤٦ ٤٦ ﭪ ﭫ ﭬ ﭭ
ﭮ ﭯ ﭰ ﭱ ٤٧ ٤٧ ﭳ ﭴ ﭵ ﭶ
ﭷ ﭸ ﭹ ﭺ ﭻ ﭼ ﭽ ﭾ ﭿ ٤٨ ٤٨
ﮁ ﮂ ﮃ ﮄ ﮅ ﮆ ﮇ ﮈ
ﮉ ﮊ ﮋ ﮌ ﮍ ﮎ ﮏ ﮐ ﮑ ﮒ ﮓ
ﮔ ﮕ ﮖ ﮗ ٤٩ ٤٩ ﮙ ﮚ
ﮛ ﮜ ﮝ ﮞ ﮟ ﮠ ﮡ ﮢ ﮣ
ﮤ ﮥ ﮦ ﮧ ﮨ ﮩ ﮪ ﮫ ﮬ
ﮭ ﮮ ﮯ ﮰ ﮱ ﯓ ﯔ ﯕ
ﯖ ﯗ ﯘ ﯙ ﯚ ﯛ ﯜ ﯝ ﯞ ﯟ
ﯠ ﯡ ﯢ ﯣ ﯤ ﯥ ﯦ ﯧ ﯨ ﯩ
ﯪ ﯫ ﯬ ﯭ ﯮ ﯯ ﯰ
ﯱ ﯲ ﯳ ﯴ ﯵ ﯶ ﯷ ﯸ ٥٠ ٥٠
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ شَٰهِدٗا وَمُبَشِّرٗا وَنَذِيرٗا ٤٥ وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ بِإِذۡنِهِۦ وَسِرَاجٗا مُّنِيرٗا ٤٦
These descriptions that Allah gives of His Messenger Muhammad (ﷺ) reflect the purpose of his mission and its fundamental essence, which was unique to that message. Al-Saadi: 667.
Question: Five things are singled out for mention to describe our Prophet (ﷺ). Why?
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ شَٰهِدٗا وَمُبَشِّرٗا وَنَذِيرٗا ٤٥
Giving glad tidings precedes warning in the description of the Prophet (ﷺ) for he is more of a bearer of glad tidings than a warner, he is a mercy to the worlds and has the highest number of believing followers. Ibn Ashur: 22/53.
Question: Giving glad tidings precedes warning in the description of the Prophet (ﷺ). Why?
وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ
Being sincere in calling them to Allah alone, not to himself or seeking any kind of self-glory, as might be the inclination of many people in this situation. Al-Saadi: 668.
Question: For preachers, some slips may occur with respect to sincerity. Explain in light of this verse.
وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَضۡلٗا كَبِيرٗا ٤٧
Ibn Atiyah said: My father said to us: To me, this verse is the most promising in the Book of Allah because He commanded His Prophet to give glad tidings to the believers that they will have a great bounty from Allah, and He elucidates this great bounty by saying: (And those who have believed and done righteous deeds will be in meadows of the gardens in Paradise. They will have whatever they wish with their Lord; that is the great bounty) [42:22]. Al-Qurtubi: 16/173.
Question: Some scholars considered this verse to be among the most promising verses. Explain.
وَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَدَعۡ أَذَىٰهُمۡ
(And disregard their annoyance), since this may soften their hearts and encourage them to accept Islam, and it may put a stop to much of the harm that they do to Islam and its followers. Al-Saadi: 668.
Question: Allah forbids annoying the disbelievers. Why?
وَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَدَعۡ أَذَىٰهُمۡ
Meaning: Do not obey them in what they suggested of giving concessions in religion, nor help them. Al-Qurtubi: 16/173.
Question: The disbelievers and hypocrites want from the preacher a particular thing. What is it?
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نَكَحۡتُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقۡتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِنَّ مِنۡ عِدَّةٖ تَعۡتَدُّونَهَاۖ فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحٗا جَمِيلٗا ٤٩
Allah commands their husbands to give them a gift in this case, so as to console them for leaving them, and so that the separation may be amicable. Al-Saadi: 668.
Question: What is the wisdom behind giving a gift to a divorced woman?
