Meaning: A believing man or woman should have no choice when it comes to anything decided by Allah and His Messenger; they must submit to the command of Allah and His messenger. Ibn Juzay: 2/189.
Question: What is the believer's duty when he finds out a proof from the Quran and Sunnah?
When someone seeks advice with regard to divorcing his wife, it is better to advise him to keep her as much as possible, because that is better than separation. Al-Saadi: 666.
Question: What advice should be given to one who intends to divorce his wife?
The Messenger (ﷺ) conveyed the message clearly and did not leave anything of what was revealed to him but conveyed it, even this matter in which there was a rebuke to him. Al-Saadi: 666.
Question: The Messenger (ﷺ) conveyed the message truthfully. How can we infer that from this verse?
Practical teaching is more effective than verbal one, especially if it is also accompanied by words, for that is light upon light. Al-Saadi: 666.
Question: The verse points to practical education. Explain
(But he is the Messenger of Allah), when his fatherhood of any man is negated, this exception comes in order to avoid giving the wrong impression of non-existent ties between him and his Ummah, hence, they are reminded that since he is the Messenger of Allah, he is like a father figure to all of his Ummah through his compassion and mercy toward them, and their dutifulness and veneration of him as it is the case with every Prophet and his people. Ibn Ashur: 22/44.
Question: What is the benefit in stating this exception: (But he is the Messenger of Allah)?
Whenever Allah enjoins His remembrance, He stipulates abundance, in contrast with other deeds. Remembrance of Allah is done by the heart and tongue, and has many varieties such as saying: None is worthy of worship but Allah; Glory be to Allah; Praise be to Allah; Allah is the greatest, and mentioning Allah's Holy Names. Ibn Juzay: 2/191.
Question: In light of this verse, what is the advantage of Allah’s remembrance over all good deeds?
Allah enjoins his servants to remember and thank Him abundantly for the blessings He bestowed upon them, and He does not set a limit for that due to its easiness and great reward. Ibn Abbas (t): No one is excused for not remembering Allah except one with a disabled mind. Al-Qurtubi: 16/167
Question: Can anyone be excused for not remembering Allah?
