Yunus Verses 42 - 43

If their minds, hearing and vision, which are the means of acquiring knowledge and learning facts, are not functioning, then what way do they have for reaching the truth? Al-Saadi: 365.

Yunus Verses 0 - 43

The words (And among them are some who look at you) indicate that looking at the Prophet (ﷺ) and his teachings, character, deeds and Message is the greatest evidence of his truthfulness and the soundness of what he brought; that is sufficient for one who has eyesight, and needs no further proof. Al-Saadi: 365.
Question: What is the importance of studying and teaching biography of the Prophet (ﷺ)?

Yunus Verses 0 - 43

They look at you and see what Allah has given you in terms of discretion, noble personality and great conduct. There is in all of this clear evidence of your Prophethood for those who have reason and insight. They look, just like others do, but they do not receive guidance like them. Believers look at you with respect and dignity while disbelievers look at you with disdain. Ibn Kathir: 2/400.
Question: Muslims benefited from looking at the state of the Prophet (ﷺ) and his guidance, but polytheists did not. Why?

Yunus Verses 0 - 44

People wrong themselves by disbelieving, committing sins, and disobeying the command of their Creator. Al-Qurtubi: 10/507.
Question: How does one wrong himself?

Yunus Verses 0 - 45

These all are evidence of the brevity of the worldly life compared to the Hereafter. Ibn Kathir: 2/401.
Question: In light of this verse, how do you view this worldly life?

Yunus Verses 0 - 49

(Say, "I have no power to harm or benefit myself"): I cannot provide myself with anything nor ward off any harm to it, (Except by the Will of Allah) then I can. Al-Baghawi: 2/365
Question: If the Messenger (ﷺ) cannot benefit nor harm himself, can he do that for others?

Yunus Verses 0 - 50

The word (bedtime) is used rather than "night", despite their similarity, to indicate sleep and heedlessness, and the fact that it is the time when the enemy is planning and seizing the opportunity of slackness, while the word "night" does not have this meaning. Al-Qasimi: 4/256.
Question: The word (bedtime) is used rather than "night." Why?
