When they entrusted their affairs to Allah and relied with their hearts on Him, He rewarded them with four things: Blessing, favor, averting evil and pursuing His pleasure, and so He was pleased with them as well as they were with Him. Al-Qurtubi: 5/417.
Question: What are the four blessings that the people of faith received when they entrusted their affairs to their Lord, glory be to Him?
The one who truly fears Allah is the one who fears Allah's punishment, either in this world or in the Hereafter. That is why it is said that the fearful person is not one who weeps and wipes his eyes, but rather the one who abandons sins for which he fears he will be punished. Al-Qurtubi: 5/428.
Question: Who is the real fearful of Allah, the Almighty?
If the allies of Allah, the Merciful, remain steadfast in His cause, Allah will reward them with His help and victory over the allies of satan. Whoever fears satan and acts accordingly, will be one of satan's allies. Al-Biqai: 2/185.
Question: What is the description of a person who fears satan and acts according to his fear?
(They will never harm Allah at all) the harm caused by disbelievers' actions toward the believers is directed toward Allah and negated. This signifies an honor for the believers where anything that harms them will be as if it harms Allah, the Almighty. Al-Alusi: 4/133.
Question: The harm caused by disbelievers' actions toward the believers is directed toward Allah and negated. Why?
Allah would not let the believers mixed with hypocrites, but He distinguished the two groups from each other by the words and actions that appeared in the Battle of Uhud, indicating either faith or hypocrisy. (Nor would Allah reveal to you the unseen) meaning: Allah would not reveal to you what is in the hearts: faith or hypocrisy. Ibn Juzay: 1/168.
Question: A great wisdom was revealed to the Muslims through the defeat at Uhud. What is it?
(Until He separates the evil from the good) Allah will expose the falsifier, no matter how long he stays hidden, by difficult burdens and severe conditions, which only the sincere among the servants, who are sincere in belief, can endure. Al-Biqai: 2/187.
Question: How does Allah separate the evil from the good?
Allah states that He is the Everlasting, His Kingdom is eternal and that He will be after time as He was before time, free of any need of the universe. He will inherit the earth after the perishing of His creation and the demise of their kingdoms when there is no one left to claim their wealth. Al-Qurtubi: 5/442.
Question: Describe the greatness of Allah as opposed to the insignificance of His creation.
