Quraysh Verses 3 - 4

Allah perished whoever intended evil against the people of Quraish, and glorified the Ka'bah and the people of Makkah within the hearts of the Arabs until they showed respect and did not object to any travels the people of Quraish wanted to do; that is why Allah ordered the people of Quraish to show gratitude, saying: (Let them worship the Lord of this house), they should worship only Allah and should do so with sincerity. Al-Saadi: 894.
Question: The Oneness of Allah is a form of gratitude. Explain in light of this Surah.

Quraysh Verses 0 - 4

The combination of both prosperity and security is a great favor from Allah, because a person will not be satisfied or enjoy life unless he is blessed with these two blessings simultaneously; as there is no life with hunger, and no sense of security when fear is present, and only after these blessings are combined will Allah's favor be complete. A-Shanqiti: 9/112.
Question: What was the purpose of simultaneously blessing Quraish with prosperity and security?

Al-Ma'un Verses 1 - 2

Look at those who deny the Recompense, and you will find within them these repulsive behaviors and acts of evil, for faith encourages the believers to do good deeds and refrain from bad ones. Ibn Juzay: 2/614.
Question: Allah shows that the deniers of the Recompense have repulsive behaviors, why?

Al-Ma'un Verses 4 - 5

Meaning: They are those people who pray and adhere to the prayer, yet they are mindless of it. This may either be referring to its act entirely, or it may be referring to performing it in its designated time, which means that the person performs it completely beyond its designated time. Ibn Kathir: 4/558.
Question: In what way can someone be heedless of their prayers?

Al-Kawthar Verses 0 - 2

The reason that Allah mentions prayer before sacrifice when he says, (So pray to your Lord and offer sacrifice), and why He mentions zakah before prayer when he says, (Indeed, he who purifies himself will attain success ` and remembers his Lord's Name and prays) because part of the Sunnah is to make fast-breaking charity (Zakat Al-Fitr) before prayer in Eid Al-Fitr, and the sacrifice comes after the prayer in Eid Al-Adha. Ibn Taimyah: 7/194.
Question: Why is it part of the Sunnah to make the Zakat Al-Fitr before prayer in Eid Al-Fitr, and the sacrifice after the prayer in Eid Al-Adha?

Al-Kawthar Verses 0 - 3

If a person, openly, commits an offense punishable by Allah, then it is obligatory to punish him and apply Allah's fair rule. It is our duty to break off with those who display hostility and enmity. Ibn Taimyah: 7/196.
Question: What is the difference between one who commits sins openly and another who hides them?

Al-Kawthar Verses 0 - 3

The people of the Sunnah die, yet their teachings live on, while the innovators (of religious matters) die and so do their teachings, because the people of the Sunnah revitalize the teachings of the Prophet (ﷺ) and therefore became associated with the verse: (And raised high for you your repute), while the innovators hated the teachings of the Prophet (ﷺ) and therefore became associated with the verse: (Indeed, your enemy is truly cut off). Ibn Taimyah: 7/198.
Question: Why did the teachings of the Sunnah remain while the teachings of the innovators perished?
