Al-Saadi: 925.
Question: Are the hardships that man goes through limited to this worldly life? How can he save himself from these hardships?

Allah describes spending on desires and sins as squandering, because the spender does not benefit from what he spends, and his spending only leads to regret, loss, exhaustion and diminishing of wealth. Al-Saadi: 925.
Question: The word (squandered) is used, not "spent", why?

Al-Balad Verses 8 - 10

These immense blessings entail a person to fulfill his duties toward Allah, be grateful to Him for His blessings, and not use them to disobey Him. Al-Saadi: 925.
Question: Knowing that Allah had made your eyes, tongue, and lips, and shown you the two ways (good and evil), what should be your viable position toward these blessings?

Al-Balad Verses 11 - 12

The difficult pass refers to the righteous deeds mentioned afterward. The term (difficult pass) is used here to resemble the difficulty of passing over a mountain, which is rigorous and demanding for souls. Ibn Juzay: 2/574.
Question: Righteous deeds are referred to as (difficult pass). Why?

Al-Balad Verses 0 - 15

(Relative), kinship. He is singled out because feeding him is more worthy than others. This is supported by the Prophetic Hadith: "Giving charity to a poor person is charity, and [giving] to a relative is two things, charity and upholding the ties of kinship." Al-Shanqiti: 8/533.
Question: The orphan relative is singled out for feeding. Why?
