ﭼ ٥٩ ٥٩ ﭾ ﭿ ﮀ ﮁ ﮂ ﮃ ﮄ ٦٠ ٦٠
ﮆ ﮇ ﮈ ﮉ ﮊ ﮋ ﮌ ﮍ ﮎ ٦١ ٦١ ﮐ
ﮑ ﮒ ﮓ ﮔ ﮕ ٦٢ ٦٢ ﮗ ﮘ ﮙ
٦٣ ٦٣ ﮛ ﮜ ﮝ ﮞ ﮟ ٦٤ ٦٤ ﮡ ﮢ ﮣ
ﮤ ﮥ ﮦ ٦٥ ٦٥ ﮨ ﮩ ٦٦ ٦٦ ﮫ ﮬ
ﮭ ٦٧ ٦٧ ﮯ ﮰ ﮱ ﯓ ٦٨ ٦٨ ﯕ ﯖ
ﯗ ﯘ ﯙ ﯚ ﯛ ٦٩ ٦٩ ﯝ ﯞ ﯟ ﯠ ﯡ
ﯢ ٧٠ ٧٠ ﯤ ﯥ ﯦ ﯧ ٧١ ٧١ ﯩ ﯪ
ﯫ ﯬ ﯭ ﯮ ٧٢ ٧٢ ﯰ ﯱ ﯲ ﯳ
ﯴ ٧٣ ٧٣ ﯶ ﯷ ﯸ ﯹ ٧٤ ٧٤ ﯻ ﯼ ﯽ
ﯾ ﯿ ٧٥ ٧٥ ﰁ ﰂ ﰃ ﰄ ﰅ ٧٦ ٧٦
نَحۡنُ قَدَّرۡنَا بَيۡنَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِينَ ٦٠
Meaning: We ordained death at the end of a prescribed lifetime for everyone, where he cannot live beyond his prescribed limit. We may ordain a short lifetime for one who has a strong body and sound mind, and We may ordain a long lifetime for one who has a weak body and unsteady mind. You admit that Allah governs all actions in accordance with the utmost perfection, capability, and extensive wisdom. Al-Biqai: 19/221.
Question: What is meant by (We have decreed death among you)?
وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتُمُ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ فَلَوۡلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ ٦٢
(So will you not remember), Allah says: O people, will you remember and realize that the One Who created you the first time when you were nothing is quite capable of bringing you back to life after death. Al-Tabari: 23/138.
Question: Allah links reminding to the first creation. Why?
ءَأَنتُمۡ تَزۡرَعُونَهُۥٓ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلزَّٰرِعُونَ ٦٤
This verse contains two points, first: Allah reminds them of His favor in growing their crops to keep them alive so they would thank Him for His blessing. Second: Allah presents evidence to be considered, which is growing their crops after its seed has perished in the soil and transformed into green crops, then making it stronger than ever before, is even more capable of bringing people from the dead. In this, a compelling proof to those of sensible minds. Al-Qurtubi: 20/211.
Question: In brief, discuss Allah's favor upon His servants in growing their crops.
أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَآءَ ٱلَّذِي تَشۡرَبُونَ ٦٨
Among many water benefits, Allah mentions only one, which is drinking because it is the greatest and most beneficial of all. Al-Shawkani: 5/158.
Question: Among many benefits of water, Allah mentions only one. Why?
أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَآءَ ٱلَّذِي تَشۡرَبُونَ ٦٨ ءَأَنتُمۡ أَنزَلۡتُمُوهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُزۡنِ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُنزِلُونَ ٦٩
(Is it you who bring it down from the clouds), indicates that all ground waters that flow out of springs and wells, are originated from the clouds and Allah settled and stored it in the earth for His creations. Al-Shanqiti: 7/534.
Question: From where do the ground waters of springs and wells originate?
نَحۡنُ جَعَلۡنَٰهَا تَذۡكِرَةٗ وَمَتَٰعٗا لِّلۡمُقۡوِينَ ٧٣
Allah singles out travelers for mention because they benefit from it more than others. Perhaps the reason for that is that this world is all a place of travel; from the time a person is born, he is traveling toward his Lord. Al-Saadi: 835-836.

فَسَبِّحۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ ٧٤
Exalting and glorifying Allah, the Almighty, after mentioning His blessings indicates praising Him for them. It is, in fact, offering thanks to the Bestower. Al-Alusi: 14/15
