At-Tur Verses 16 - 17

Having mentioned the punishment of the deniers, Allah now mentions the bliss of the righteous to combine encouragement and warning, and so the hearts remain in a state between fear and hope. Al-Saadi: 814.
Question: Allah mentions the bliss of the righteous after the punishment of the deniers. Why?

At-Tur Verses 17 - 18

This, also, indicates that saving the righteous from the punishment of Hellfire is part of justice since they did not commit what they should be punished for. However, the bliss they receive is a bounty and honor from Allah to them. Ibn Ashur: 27/46.
Question: In this verse, Allah combines His justice and bounty. Explain.

At-Tur Verses 0 - 20

Allah describes the thrones as being arranged in rows so as to indicate that they will be numerous and well organized, and the people sitting on them are together and happy, treating one another kindly, and speaking gentle words to one another. Al-Saadi: 815.
Question: Describing the thrones as being arranged in rows indicates few things. Explain.

At-Tur Verses 0 - 21

(And those who believe and their offspring follow them), the meaning of this verse is explained in this Hadith of the Prophet (ﷺ) who said: "Allah will raise the rank of the believer's offspring to be with him in Paradise, even if they are less than him in deeds, to please him." This is honoring the offspring because of their parents. In the Arabic text, the word (faith) is in an indefinite form which indicates that their amount of faith was not high enough to make them reach their parent's rank, but Allah joined them together in honor of their parents. If this was attained with their little faith, then what if their faith was great? (And will not detract anything from their deeds), We will not detect the reward of their deeds, rather, We will give them the reward in full. Ibn Juzay: 2/376.
Question: The pleasure of the people in Paradise will be complete. Explain in light of this verse.

At-Tur Verses 0 - 27

This verse indicates that the intense fear of Allah’s punishment in this worldly life is a reason for being saved from His punishment in the Hereafter. Conversely, whoever does not fear Allah’s punishment in this worldly life, will not be saved from His punishment in the Hereafter. Al-Shanqiti: 7/457.
Question: State the reason for being saved from punishment in the Hereafter, and what is inferred by this verse.

At-Tur Verses 0 - 26

Meaning: We were afraid and apprehensive, so we refrained from sin out of fear of Him, and we corrected our faults. Al-Saadi: 814.
Question: When can the fear of Allah and the Hereafter be useful to a person?

At-Tur Verses 0 - 28

All those in the heavens and earth ask Allah; nevertheless, attaining salvation is through sincere worship and devotion to Allah, not by merely asking for it. Ibn Al-Qayim: 3/62.
Question: All created beings ask Allah, the Almighty, but who will be saved from the Scorching Fire?
