ﭥ ﭦ ﭧ ١٢ ١٢ ﭩ ﭪ ﭫ ﭬ ﭭ ﭮ ﭯ ﭰ
ﭱ ﭲ ﭳ ﭴ ﭵ ﭶ ١٣ ١٣ ﭸ ﭹ ﭺ ﭻ ﭼ
ﭽ ﭾ ﭿ ﮀ ﮁ ﮂ ﮃ ﮄ ١٤ ١٤ ﮆ ﮇ ﮈ
ﮉ ﮊ ﮋ ﮌ ﮍ ﮎ ﮏ ﮐ ﮑ ﮒ ﮓ ﮔ ﮕ ﮖ
ﮗ ﮘ ﮙ ﮚ ﮛ ﮜ ﮝ ﮞ ﮟ ﮠ ﮡ ﮢ
ﮣ ﮤ ﮥ ﮦ ﮧ ﮨ ﮩ ﮪ ﮫ ﮬ ﮭ ﮮ ﮯ ﮰ
ﮱ ﯓ ﯔ ﯕ ١٥ ١٥ ﯗ ﯘ ﯙ ﯚ ﯛ ﯜ
ﯝ ﯞ ﯟ ﯠ ﯡ ﯢ ﯣ ﯤ ﯥ ﯦ ﯧ ﯨ
ﯩ ﯪ ﯫ ﯬ ﯭ ﯮ ﯯ ١٦ ١٦ ﯱ ﯲ
ﯳ ﯴ ﯵ ﯶ ١٧ ١٧ ﯸ ﯹ ﯺ ﯻ
ﯼ ﯽ ﯾ ﯿ ﰀ ﰁ ﰂ ﰃ ﰄ ﰅ ﰆ ﰇ
ﰈ ١٨ ١٨ ﰊ ﰋ ﰌ ﰍ ﰎ ﰏ ﰐ ﰑ
ﰒ ﰓ ﰔ ﰕ ﰖ ﰗ ﰘ ١٩ ١٩
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدۡخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ
Entering Paradise will wipe out the effects of all the hardships they had faced in worldly life. The bliss of Paradise will be a continuation of the worldly bliss of being closer to Allah but without annoyance or distress, and never desiring to leave because it is their abode. This will be a recompense for being denied the adornments of worldly life in order to free them for serve Allah and enjoy His presence because He loves and honors them. Al-Biqai: 18/214.
Question: What will be the effects of entering Paradise on the Believers?
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأۡكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأۡكُلُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ وَٱلنَّارُ مَثۡوٗى لَّهُمۡ ١٢
(And those who disbelieve enjoy themselves) in this worldly life like livestock, have no concerns except to fill their bellies and fulfills their lusts, and are oblivious to what will come tomorrow. It is said that in this worldly life, the believer cumulates [good deeds], the hypocrite adorns himself, and the disbeliever enjoys himself. Al-Qurtubi: 19/257.
Question: What is the disbeliever's biggest concern in this life? What is the difference between the attitudes of the believer, the hypocrite, and the disbeliever toward this life?
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأۡكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأۡكُلُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ وَٱلنَّارُ مَثۡوٗى لَّهُمۡ ١٢
Those who deny the Oneness of Allah and reject His Messenger (ﷺ), enjoy the pleasures and perishable adornments of this life just as the livestock which have no concern except for grazing. Al-Tabari: 22/164.
Question: What is the similarity between the disbelievers and the livestock?
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأۡكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأۡكُلُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ وَٱلنَّارُ مَثۡوٗى لَّهُمۡ ١٢
(And eat as grazing livestock eat): Happily eating anything to their fill regardless of its source or whether it is lawful or not, for Allah has given them more of this worldly life until they became heedless of Him. Al-Biqai: 18/214.
Question: What is the indication when man is given more of this worldly life but deprived of worshiping Allah?
فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمۡ وَمَثۡوَىٰكُمۡ ١٩
Abu Musa said: Allah's Messenger said: "Every morning when I wake up, I ask Allah for forgiveness a hundred times." Abdulla bin Omar (k) said: We counted that the Messenger of (ﷺ) would say a hundred times during a setting: "My Lord, forgive me and pardon me; You are the Pardoning and Forgiving One." Al-Alusi: 25/294.
Question: State an example of how the Prophet (ﷺ) reflects on the Quran and put it into practice.
فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۗ
Sufyan bin Uyaynah was asked about the virtue of knowledge, and he said: Did you not hear what Allah says when He begins with it: (So know that there is no deity except Allah and ask forgiveness for your sin), so He enjoined action after knowledge. Allah says, (Know that the life of this world is no more than play...) until He says, (Race one another towards forgiveness from your Lord) [57:20-22]. Allah says, (Know that your wealth and your children are only a trial) [8:28]. Then He says, (So beware of them) [64:14]. And Allah says, (Know that whatever spoils you obtain) [8:41], then He enjoined action afterward. Al-Qurtubi: 19/267.
Question: Explain how this verse indicates the virtue of action after knowledge.
How?
وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۗ
If it is the case that the Prophet (ﷺ) is instructed to pray for them, which means asking for their sin to be removed and for them to be protected from the punishment thereof, it is implied that he is to show sincerity toward them, love good for them as he loves it for himself, hate evil for them as he hates it for himself, enjoin them to do what is good for them and forbid them to do what is harmful to them, overlook their shortcomings and faults, be keen that they should be united and in harmony, and that all grudges between them should be removed that could lead to enmity and division that would increase them in sin. Al-Saadi: 787-788.
Question: What are the entailments of asking forgiveness for the believing men and women?
