Al-Ahqaf Verses 0 - 29

Meaning: They politely said: Listen attentively. (They went back to their people as warners), they went back to their people and warned them about what they heard from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). This is similar to Allah's saying, (that they may obtain understanding in religion and warn their people when they return to them so that they might be cautious [of evil]) [9:122]. This verse is quoted as evidence that the jinn have warners from among themselves but no Messengers. There is no doubt that Allah did not send Messengers from among the jinn. Ibn Kathir: 4/172.
Question: The jinn exhibited good manners when listening to the Quran, how? Are there Messengers from among the jinn?

Al-Ahqaf Verses 0 - 30

They did not mention Jesus (u) because the Gospel that was revealed to him contained admonitions and exhortations, but very few permissions or prohibitions. Thus, it was, in fact, like a complement to the legislation of the Torah, which is the reference. That is why they said, (revealed after Moses). This was also the way that Waraqah bin Nawfal responded when the Prophet (ﷺ) told him about his first encounter with the angel Gabriel. He said: "Very good, very good! This is An-Namus (the angel) that used to come to Moses. Ibn Kathir: 4/173.
Question: The jinn said (revealed after Moses), and did not say "revealed after Jesus." Why?

Al-Ahqaf Verses 30 - 31

Having praised the Quran and highlighted its sublime status, they then called their fellow jinn to believe in it. Al-Saadi: 783.
Question: The jinn's way of presenting their speech contains a useful lesson in preaching. Explain.

Al-Ahqaf Verses 0 - 35

The praised resolve in carrying the responsibility of religion is the determination to pursue purification of oneself and reforming the Ummah. It is based on patience against hardship, its motive is piety and its strength is self-reckoning. Allah says, (But if you observe patience and fear Allah, that is a matter of firm resolve) [3:186]. Ibn Ashur: 26/67.
Question: What are the elements of Firm Resolve?

Al-Ahqaf Verses 0 - 35

(The Messengers of Firm Resolve) are: Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (p). Based on that, the Messengers like whom Allah’s Messenger was enjoined to exhibit patience are four, and he became the fifth. Al-Shanqiti: 7/241.
Question: Who are the Messengers of Firm Resolve?

Al-Ahqaf Verses 0 - 35

Having enjoined His Messenger with patience, which is the highest virtue, Allah forbids him from haste, which is the vilest trait, in order to maintain the best virtue that leads to victory, so, He said, (and do not seek to hasten [punishment] for them), do not seek hastiness by trying to do something that would afflict them at untimely manner. Al-Biqai: 18/191.
Question: The verse shows that a good preacher has two traits. What are they?
How?

Al-Ahqaf Verses 0 - 35

The intensity of the punishment that they will be subjected to will make them forget how long they had actually stayed in worldly life, and the number of years and months they spent therein, as Allah says, (How long did you remain on earth in number of years? ` They will say, "We stayed for a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count") [23:112-113]. Al-Tabari: 22/146.
Question: What will make the disbelievers think that they had stayed a very short time in worldly life?
