He discerned a little use in advising them, and that they were bent on denying Moses, so he raised the level of admonishing them to placing blame on what had occurred in the past, and reminding them that they were descendants of those who denied Joseph when he came to them with clear proof. Denying those who call them to the truth was well-known in their ancestors, and had become an innate disposition for them. Ibn Ashur: 24/138.

When Pharaoh said, in the presence of his eminent ones, (so that I have a look at the God of Moses), his words implied a hint of recognition of (the God of Moses), hence, he worriedly revised that by saying, (for I think he is a liar). Ibn Atiyah: 4/560.
Question: What is the link between the beginning of the verse and Pharaoh’s words: (I think he is a liar)?

Ghafir Verses 0 - 37

This sentence, (for I think he is a liar) is an intervening clause, used by Pharaoh to guards against the notion by Haman and his people that Moses’s message had weakened his faith in his religion and gods; or that he was searching and reflecting on the evidence of true knowledge. He, therefore, assured them that he meant to discredit Moses’s claim through physical evidence. Ibn Ashur: 24/147.
Question: What was the use for Pharaoh to have said: (for I think he is a liar)?

Ghafir Verses 0 - 37

Pharaoh's deception in wanting to have a look at the God of Moses was not except in ruin, loss of wealth, and complete waste, because he lost all what was spent on that tall building, and did not achieve what he wanted, so, that was the ruin and total loss. Al-Tabari: 21/388.
Question: Why is Pharaoh's plan described as (ruin)?
