Sad Verses 0 - 44

وَخُذۡ بِيَدِكَ ضِغۡثٗا فَٱضۡرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحۡنَثۡۗ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَٰهُ صَابِرٗاۚ

Prophet Job (u) became angry with his wife, so he swore an oath that if Allah healed him, he would lash her a hundred times. After Allah healed him, how could her service, mercy, compassion, and kindness be repaid with a beating? So, Allah showed him a way out, which was to take a bundle of thin grass, with one hundred stems, and hit her with it once. Thus, he fulfilled his oath and avoided breaking his vow. This was the solution and way out for one who had fear of Allah and turned to Him in repentance. Ibn Kathir: 4/41.
Question: When one has true fear of Allah, Allah will make a way out for him. Explain, given this verse

Sad Verses 0 - 45

وَٱذۡكُرۡ عِبَٰدَنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَ أُوْلِي ٱلۡأَيۡدِي وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ ٤٥

Their strength was in doing righteous deeds. In the Arabic text, the word used for strength is "hands", because deeds are mostly done using the hands. They had insights and knowledge. In the Arabic text, the word used for insights is "sights", which means insights, similar to describing someone who has insight by saying: He can see things. Ibn Juzay: 2/257.
Question: Allah praises His Prophets, saying, (men of strength and insight). Explain.

Sad Verses 0 - 49

هَٰذَا ذِكۡرٞۚ وَإِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ ٤٩

(This is a reminder), an excellent mention and a lasting honor for them in this world. (And the righteous will surely have a good place of return), in addition to the excellent mention in this world, they will have a good place of return in the Hereafter. Al-Qurtubi: 18/226.
Question: This verse contains some of the rewards for the righteous in this world and the Hereafter. Explain

Sad Verses 0 - 50

مُّفَتَّحَةٗ لَّهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡوَٰبُ ٥٠

This is also indicative of perfect security, for in the gardens of perpetual abode there is nothing that would require closing and locking of gates (or doors). Al-Saadi: 715.
Question: This verse indicates a great blessing bestowed by Allah upon the believers. What is it?

Sad Verses 0 - 52

۞وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ أَتۡرَابٌ ٥٢

(And they will have) will be their wives of wide, beautiful eyes (of modest gaze) and look only at their husbands, and their husbands will look only at them, because of the beauty that all will possess, and the love that each will have for the other; they will have no desire for any other companion and will not think of any replacement. Al-Saadi: 715.
Question: Describing the maidens in Paradise as (of modest gaze) is indicative of a quality that a Muslim woman should have so it may be a reason for her to enter Paradise. What is it?

Sad Verses 0 - 54

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزۡقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ ٥٤

Whenever the dwellers of Paradise pick a fruit and eat it, another one will appear in its place, and this will continue for eternity. Al-Tabari: 21/223.
Question: This verse reveals the difference between the fruits of Paradise and that of this world. Explain.

Sad Verses 0 - 60

قَالُواْ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِكُمۡۖ أَنتُمۡ قَدَّمۡتُمُوهُ لَنَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرَارُ ٦٠

Meaning: You called us to disobedience, and that is a terrible place for both of us. The followers will say, Our Lord, whoever brought this on us, give him double punishment in the Fire. Al-Qurtubi: 18/233.
Question: What will be the condition of the followers with their disobedient leaders on the Day of Resurrection? What lesson is learned from that?
