(O Prophet), Allah is honoring him by addressing him by Prophethood, while He addressed all Prophets by their first names. Ibn Juzay: 2/181.
Question: In this verse, Allah addresses His Prophet (ﷺ) in an honorable way. How?

Allah points out to something lower by referring to something higher. When He commands His servant and Messenger to do this, He is also commanding those who are lower than him, and the command is addressed to them more so. Ibn Kathir: 3/448.
Question: Is anyone above being commanded of piety, and prohibited from obeying the disbelievers and hypocrites?

These are the real enemies, so do not obey them in some matters that undermine piety and are contrary to it. Al-Saadi: 657.
Question: Allah forbids the obedience of disbelievers and hypocrites. Why?

Meaning: Follow the Quran. This prohibits following the rituals of the age of ignorance (pre-Islam), and it enjoins Jihad against them. Moreover, it is a proof against following one’s desires with the existence of a clear text (command). This speech is directed to the Prophet (ﷺ) and his Ummah. Al-Qurtubi: 17/51.
Question: How do you respond to one who abandons the Quran and follows his desires and people's opinions?

Allah has honored the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) by making them "Mothers of the believers," which means treating them with veneration, reverence, and respect. Moreover, it is unlawful for them to marry anyone other than the Prophet (ﷺ). Al-Qurtubi: 17/62.
