Ibrahim Verses 0 - 11

(But Allah confers favor upon whom He wills of His servants), Allah bestows His bounty upon him by giving him success, wisdom, knowledge and guidance. Al-Qurtubi: 12/115.
Question: Parity in shape and appearance do not necessarily reflect the same in knowledge and wisdom. Explain in light of this verse.

Ibrahim Verses 0 - 12

It should be noted that the Messengers' trust in Allah was for the noblest and most sublime of aims, for they relied upon Him to establish and support His religion, guide His servants and save them from misguidance. This is the most perfect kind of reliance upon Allah. Al-Saadi: 423.
Question: What is the highest and most perfect level of reliance upon Allah?

Ibrahim Verses 0 - 13

The disbelievers gave their Messengers a choice between returning to their false religion or be driven out of the land. This is Allah’s way with His Messengers and servants to which He says: (Indeed, they were about to provoke you so as to drive you out of the land) [17:76]. Al-Qurtubi: 12/116.
Question: Is driving those who call to Allah from their land a new or an old habit of tyrants?

Ibrahim Verses 0 - 14

(This is for him who fears standing before Me and fears My threat) combining these two indicates that it is right for the believer to fear his Lord's wrath and His warning. Those who do are indeed pious and righteous. Ibn Ashur: 13/208.
Question: This verse mentions an attribute of the believers. What is it?

Ibrahim Verses 0 - 15

A tyrant is the arrogant who does not recognize a favor of anyone upon him. Obstinate is the stubborn with hardheaded approach against the truth and evades it. Al-Qurtubi: 12/117.
Question: Who, among people, is more likely to be doomed?

Ibrahim Verses 0 - 17

Ibrahim At-Taymi said: "Death will come to him from every part of his body, even from the tips of his hair due to the pain he feels in every part of his body." Ad-Dhahhak said: "Death will come to him from everywhere, even from his toes." Al-Qurtubi: 12/122.
Question: How will death come from everywhere to the tyrants in Hellfire? What proves that?

Ibrahim Verses 0 - 18

Their work and deeds were not based on firm, correct grounds, and thus, they lost their rewards when they needed them the most. Ibn Kathir: 2/508.
Question: In light of this verse, show the risk of being easy with religious innovation and shirk?
