(Which We detailed by knowledge) from Allah, Who knows the situation of people at all times and in all places, and He knows what is and is not good for them. Hence, His explanation is not the explanation of one who is unaware of human affairs or ignorant of some of them, as a result of which he may issue an inappropriate ruling; rather, it is an explanation by One Whose knowledge encompasses all things and His mercy encompasses all things. Al-Saadi: 291.
Question: How do you respond to the claim that Islamic Sharia does not fit present times?

According to Sharia, performing voluntary acts of worship in private is better than performing them in public. Alhasan bin Abi Alhasan said: We have seen some people who always kept their voluntary good deeds private, and Muslims used to supplicate Allah diligently in an inaudible whisper. Al-Qurtubi: 9/244-245.
Question: Which is better: performing voluntary acts of worship privately or in public?

Meaning: Allah is saying to the people: Supplicate your Lord alone with sincerity, and never supplicate idols or false gods. (in humility): In submissiveness. (and privately) not by showing off while your hearts are uncertain of His Oneness and Lordship, as hypocrites would do. Al-Tabari: 12/485.
Question: What are the traits that should be observed when supplicating Allah?

Whoever reflected on the lives of people in this world, would reach the conclusion that every goodness that they had enjoyed was due to observing the Oneness of Allah, His worship, and adherence to the teachings of His Messenger (ﷺ). On the other hand, every evil, trial, tribulation, drought, and defeat by an enemy are all due to disobedience of the Messenger (ﷺ) and the call to other than Allah. Ibn Taimyah: 3/170.
Question: What is the cause of every goodness on earth? What is the cause of every corruption on earth?

Fear of Allah has three levels, first: A weak feeling that crosses the heart but has no real inward or outward effect on a person, therefore, this is a non-existent fear. Second: A strong feeling that awakens the person and induces him to become disciplined. Third: An extreme fear that pushes a person to despair and hopelessness, and this is prohibited. The middle level is the best one. When it comes to the fear of Allah, people have three states: Ordinary people's fear from the consequences of their sins; the elite's fear from the evil end of life, and the special elite's fear from what may occur based on the divine will and decree since the end of life depends on it. Ibn Juzay: 1/360.
Question: In light of this verse, what is the best level of fear of Allah that one should observe?

the necessary effort to attain it by doing good deeds and abstaining from sins, so this is the good hope. Second: Hoping, but with disobedience and sins, so this is a delusion. Third: Hope becomes too strong to the point of feeling completely safe, and this is prohibited. When it comes to hoping for Allah's mercy, people have three states: The hope of ordinary people for Allah's reward; the hope of the elite for Allah's Pleasure; the hope of the special elite to meet Allah out of yearning and love for Him. Ibn Juzay: 1/360.
Question: In light of this verse, what is the appropriate level of hope for Allah’s mercy that one should observe?

The doers of good are selected to be near Allah's mercy since He is the Most Merciful of the merciful, and His benevolence is for those who are benevolent, as a befitting recompense. And the more they do good, the more He rewards them with His mercy. Ibn Taimyah: 15/27.
