Al-A'raf Verses 0 - 31

It is said that dressing well means wearing more than what is necessary to cover the body such as dressing with adornments like perfumes and tooth cleanser (Miswak) for Friday prayers. (Eat and drink, but do not waste, for He does not like the wasteful) means: do not consume more food than you need. Medical doctors said: "This verse contains the best medical advice." Ibn Juzay: 1/300.
Question: This verse combines what is best for the heart and body. Explain.

Al-A'raf Verses 0 - 32

Allah Has bestowed this abundance of good things upon His servants to help them to worship Him, so He did not make it permissible to any but His believing servants. Hence He says, (Say, "They are for the believers in the life of this world [although shared by others], and will be exclusively theirs on the Day of Resurrection]. What we may understand from the verse is that regarding the one who does not believe in Allah -rather he uses the blessings to commit sin- is that the blessings are not meant for him. Rather, he will be punished for having them and enjoying them, and he will be questioned about them on the Day of Resurrection. Al-Saadi: 287.
Question: What is the wisdom behind making the blessings lawful for the believers?

Al-A'raf Verses 0 - 32

This verse recommends dressing well with adornments for Eid and Friday prayers, when meeting people, and when visiting with the brethren. Al-Qurtubi: 9/203.
Question: In light of this verse, explain this Prophetic Hadith: "Allah is Beautiful and He likes beauty."?

Al-A'raf Verses 0 - 32

In this life, the adornments and lawful provisions are for the believers with some worries and bitterness; however, on the Day of Resurrection, they will be exclusively and worry-free for the believers. Al-Baghawi: 2/100.
Question: How will the adornments and lawful provisions be exclusively for the believers on the Day of Resurrection?

Al-A'raf Verses 0 - 33

(Thus We explain the revelations in detail), We clarify them and make them clear (for people who have knowledge) because they are the ones who will benefit from what Allah explains in detail of His revelations; they know that they are from Allah, so they appreciate them and understand them. Then Allah mentions the things that He has prohibited, which are prohibited in all divinely revealed laws: (Say: My Lord has only forbidden shameful acts): that is, major sins which people find shameful and repugnant because they are so horrible, such as fornication, adultery, homosexuality and so on. Al-Saadi: 287.
Question: The revelations are explained in details for people of knowledge. Why?

Al-A'raf Verses 0 - 33

The major sins of which Allah says, (Say, "My Lord has forbidden shameful acts done openly or in secret, sinfulness, unjustified aggression, associating partners with Allah for which He has not sent down any authority, and saying about Allah that of which you have no knowledge) are affirmed by the Sharias of all the Prophets. Ibn Taimyah: 3/157.
Question: In light of this verse, what are the major sins?

Al-A'raf Verses 0 - 33

The proper meanings of what is "good" and "bad" can only be derived from Sharia. Moreover, the meaning of (Shameful acts), which is mentioned here, indicates everything that is prohibited in other parts of Sharia. Hence, everything which is prohibited by Sharia is a shameful act even though it may not be opposed by some people's minds, such as men's wearing of silk and gold, etc. Ibn Atiyah: 2/395.
Question: What are the criteria of "good" and "bad" on which the lawful and unlawful are based?
