Al-Baqarah Verses 0 - 78

This is a description of one who does not understand nor adhere to the words of Allah but rather limits himself to reciting it. Alhasan Al-Basri said: "The Quran was revealed to be acted upon, but they settled for its recitation only." Ibn Taimyah: 1/247.
Question: Neglecting to reflect and adhere to the teachings of the Quran is censured by the Quran. Explain.

Al-Baqarah Verses 0 - 79

They did that knowingly, (in order to trade it for a small price). All of this world, from beginning to end, is a small price. They made their falsehood a means of snatching what is in people's hands. Thus, they wronged the people on two counts: They confused them with regard to their religion and took their wealth unlawfully, by the worst of means, which is worse than those who take people's wealth by force or by stealing and so on. Al-Saadi: 56.
Question: Whoever distorts the text of the book or its meaning is unjust in two ways. Explain.

Al-Baqarah Verses 0 - 83

We command them to be kind to parents. Allah combines being good to one's parents with Tawhīd because the first development in the womb comes from Allah, and the second, which involves upbringing and teaching, is at the hands of one's parents, which is why Allah, the Almighty, links thanking them with thanking Him. Al-Qurtubi: 2/229.
Question: Allah combines His right with the rights of parents. Why?

Al-Baqarah Verses 0 - 83

After commanding His servants to be kind to people, Allah commands them to say good words to them, thereby combining two types of kindness: Good speech and good deeds. Ibn Kathir: 1/115.
Question: Allah mentions good speech after mentioning good deeds. Why?

Al-Baqarah Verses 0 - 83

Allah enjoins speaking good words to all people because it is the measure by which all people can be treated. When they speak kindly to people, it reflects goodness in their hearts toward them. Ibn Ashur: 1/583.
Question: Allah enjoins speaking good words to all people. Why?

Al-Baqarah Verses 0 - 83

It is speaking softly to people and behaving in good manners toward them. Al-Baghawi: 1/72.
Question: Explain the virtue of kind speech and its importance according to Islamic teachings.
