ﭫ ﭬ ﭭ ﭮ ﭯ ﭰ ﭱ ﭲ ﭳ ﭴ
ﭵ ﭶ ﭷ ﭸ ﭹ ﭺ ﭻ ﭼ ﭽ ١٢٣ ١٢٣ ﭿ
ﮀ ﮁ ﮂ ﮃ ﮄ ﮅ ﮆ ﮇ ﮈ
ﮉ ﮊ ﮋ ﮌ ﮍ ﮎ ١٢٤ ١٢٤ ﮐ
ﮑ ﮒ ﮓ ﮔ ﮕ ﮖ ﮗ ﮘ ﮙ
ﮚ ﮛ ﮜ ﮝ ﮞ ﮟ ﮠ ﮡ ١٢٥ ١٢٥ ﮣ
ﮤ ﮥ ﮦ ﮧ ﮨ ﮩ ﮪ ﮫ ﮬ ﮭ ﮮ
ﮯ ١٢٦ ١٢٦ ﮱ ﯓ ﯔ ﯕ ﯖ ﯗ ﯘ
ﯙ ﯚ ﯛ ﯜ ﯝ ﯞ ﯟ ﯠ ﯡ
ﯢ ﯣ ﯤ ﯥ ﯦ ﯧ ﯨ ﯩ ﯪ
ﯫ ﯬ ﯭ ﯮ ﯯ ﯰ ﯱ ﯲ
ﯳ ﯴ ﯵ ﯶ ﯷ ﯸ ﯹ ﯺ ﯻ ١٢٧ ١٢٧
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَنُدۡخِلُهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۖ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٗاۚ وَمَنۡ أَصۡدَقُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ قِيلٗا ١٢٢
Gardens in which there is what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor human heart has ever conceived, of all kinds of delicious food and drinks, wondrous scenes, beautiful spouses, palaces, adorned chambers, amazing trees with low hanging fruit, beautiful voices, and abundant blessings, where people will visit one another and remember the past, all of that in the gardens of paradise. And above all of that and more sublime is the pleasure of Allah upon them. Their souls will enjoy being near to Him, the eyes will enjoy seeing Him, and the ears will enjoy listening to Him, which will make them forget all bliss. Al-Saadi: 205.
Question: In Paradise there is bliss that surpasses the bliss of food and drink, what is it?
مَن يَعۡمَلۡ سُوٓءٗا يُجۡزَ بِهِۦ وَلَا يَجِدۡ لَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيّٗا وَلَا نَصِيرٗا ١٢٣ وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنٞ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يَدۡخُلُونَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
(Whoever does evil will be recompensed for it): A warning that is inevitable for the disbelievers, but it is constrained by the will of Allah for the Muslims. (And whoever does some righteous deeds): Some righteous deeds, not all of them, because complete righteous deeds are beyond the capability of humans. Ibn Juzay: 1/211.
Question: Is it a must to do all the righteous deeds to enter Paradise? Why?
وَمَنۡ أَحۡسَنُ دِينٗا مِّمَّنۡ أَسۡلَمَ وَجۡهَهُۥ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنٞ وَٱتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ حَنِيفٗاۗ
When Allah expressed "submission" in past tense form, He stipulated continuity and outwardly deeds by saying: (while being a doer of good), meaning: Being a conscious believer and not heedless, rather doer of good is a firmly established quality of his, because he worships Allah as if he were seeing Him. Al-Biqai: 2/324.
Question: Who is better in religion among the people? Why?
وَمَنۡ أَحۡسَنُ دِينٗا مِّمَّنۡ أَسۡلَمَ وَجۡهَهُۥ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنٞ
These two conditions are such that the deed of a servant is not valid without them, that is, it must be sincere and correct. Sincerity means that it is performed for the sake of Allah alone, and correctness means that it conforms to Sharia. Thus, the deed becomes outwardly valid by following Sharia and inwardly valid by sincerity. When a deed lacks either of these two conditions, it becomes null and void. Whoever lacks sincerity is a hypocrite who performs a deed only to be seen by others, and whoever lacks following Sharia is misguided and ignorant. Ibn Kathir: 1/530.
Question: The verse indicates two conditions for the acceptance of deeds. What are they?
وَمَنۡ أَحۡسَنُ دِينٗا مِّمَّنۡ أَسۡلَمَ وَجۡهَهُۥ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنٞ وَٱتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ حَنِيفٗاۗ وَٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ خَلِيلٗا ١٢٥
The one who submitted himself entirely to Allah is he whose intentions are sincerely devoted to Allah, and performs all deeds for His sake. Ibn Taimyah: 2/345.
Question: What is meant by submitting oneself entirely to Allah?
وَٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ خَلِيلٗا ١٢٥
This is an encouragement to follow Abraham Al-Khalil (u), because he is an Imam to be emulated, as he reached the ultimate goal by which servants draw near to Allah. He attained the rank of close friend (Khalil), which is the highest rank of love, and that is due to his great obedience to his Lord. Ibn Kathir: 1/530.
Question: What is the practical benefit to the believer from describing Abraham (u) as a close friend to Allah?
وَأَن تَقُومُواْ لِلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ
This includes taking care of them by obligating them to do what Allah has commanded them. Guardians are responsible for that, for making them adhere to that which Allah has made obligatory. This includes taking care of their worldly interests by investing their wealth, handling it only in the best manner, and not approaching it except in the best way. Likewise, they should not do favors to their friends or anyone else at the expense of the orphans, such as giving a girl in their care in marriage to a friend, and so on, in a way that diminishes their rights. This highlights Allah's mercy toward His servants, as He instructs them to look after the interests of those who cannot take care of themselves. Al-Saadi: 206. Question: Caring for orphans properly includes two things. What are they?
