Muhammad Verses 22 - 23

From this, it is noted that whoever enjoins what is good and strives against the people of evil, will be safe from corruption in the land and severing ties of kinship. In contrast, if he neglects that duty, he will bear the consequences. Al-Biqai: 7/169.
Question: What are the consequences on society when neglecting the enjoinment of what is good, the forbidding of what is evil, and the Jihad in the cause of Allah?

Muhammad Verses 0 - 22

Kinship has two aspects: A general and a special. The general is the kinship of religion [the believers]; it must be maintained through love, support, sincerity in giving advice, refraining from harming them, establishing justice and fairness in dealing with them, fulfilling the duties toward them such as visiting the sick, participating in washing the dead, praying for them, burying them, and other required duties. The special kinship is the blood relatives from one’s father and mother's sides. Special rights must be maintained and more such as providing financial support when necessary and keeping in touch with them at times of hardships in addition to the general rights. When maintaining duties becomes overwhelming, attention should focus on the closest kinship. Al-Qurtubi: 19/277.
Question: What is meant by kinship? What are their rights?

Muhammad Verses 22 - 23

(These are the ones whom Allah has cursed), those who spread corruption and sever ties of kinship will be expelled from Allah's mercy. (And has made them deaf), Allah deprived them of benefiting from the admonishments they hear with their ears. (And blinded their sight), He took away their insight so they do not understand Allah's arguments, nor do they remember what they see of His lessons and proofs. Al-Tabari: 22/178.
Question: Who is being cursed in this verse? What is the consequence of their blinded sight?

Muhammad Verses 0 - 24

It is as if the heart is a swinging door that is sealed with a lock. Unless the lock is removed, the door cannot be opened and what is behind it remains unreachable. Similarly, Unless the seal of the heart is removed, faith and Quran will never reach it. Ibn Al-Qayim: 2/454.
Question: The verse indicates the way to opening man's heart for faith to enter. Explain

Muhammad Verses 0 - 24

Meaning: Do they not understand it, and come to know its contents of deterring admonishments, sound arguments, and clear proofs, which suffice those who understand and reason, and deter them from disbelieving in Allah, ascribing partners to Him, and disobeying Him?! Al-Shawkani: 5/38.
Question: For one who recites the Holy Quran, what is the sign of his reflection on it?

Muhammad Verses 0 - 25

Allah reveals the situation of those who apostatize from right guidance and faith, and turn back to misguidance and disbelief. They do not do that on the basis of evidence or proof that led them to that conclusion, rather, it is misguidance from their enemy, satan, who made that appealing to them and prompted them to do it. Al-Saadi: 789.
Question: What is the reason for some to apostatize from Islam and turn back to disbelief?

Muhammad Verses 27 - 28

The combination of following what incurs Allah's wrath and hating what pleases Him, even though one of them will suffice, alludes to the striking of the angels. Striking their faces befits their following what incurs Allah's wrath, and striking their backs befits their hating of what pleases Him since hatred entails turning one's back. Ibn Ashur: 26/119.
Question: What is the link between combining following what incurs Allah's wrath and hating what pleases Him on one side, and the striking of the angels on the other?
