Az-Zukhruf Verses 0 - 11

Ibn Abbas said: It means that He sends the rain in due measure, not a drowning deluge like He did to Noah's people nor short of necessary need, so that it will be a livelihood for you and your livestock. Al-Qurtubi: 19/11.
Question: What is the secret behind saying, (in measured amounts)?

Az-Zukhruf Verses 0 - 11

Allah shifts from drawing inference and mentioning His blessing in the creation of the earth to drawing inference and mentioning His blessing in the creation of the means of livelihood in it, which is the rainwater that causes plantations on earth to grow as a provision for people. Ibn Ashur: 25/170.
Question: The Quran presents proof gradually. Explain in light of this verse.

Az-Zukhruf Verses 0 - 14

(And to our Lord that we will surely return), we will return to Him after our death, and our ultimate destination is with Him. In this verse, the mention of earthly journeys draws attention to the journey of the Hereafter, just as elsewhere, mention of earthly provision draws attention to the importance of ensuring provision for the Hereafter, as Allah says: ( And take provisions for the journey, but the best provision is righteousness) [2:197]. And the mention of earthly raiment is also used to draw attention to the raiment of the Hereafter: (And as adornment. But the raiment of righteousness - that is best) [7:26]. Ibn Kathir: 4/126.
Question: Our worldly matters often remind us of things related to the Hereafter. Explain in light of previous verses.

Az-Zukhruf Verses 0 - 14

Meaning: Returning back to Allah. This indicates that the rider should reflect on his movement and remember his ultimate return to Allah, thus, bases everything he does during his movement on that thought, and never contradicts it, hence, he rides for a lawful purpose. Moreover, it indicates that riding is not risk-free, therefore, he should remind himself about the Hereafter. Al-Alusi: 25/96.
Question: Riding animals, and akin to it for travel reminds the rider about the Hereafter. How?

Az-Zukhruf Verses 13 - 14

Muslim narrated that when the Prophet (ﷺ) sat on his camel, he said "God is most great" three times, then he said, "Glory be to Him Who has subjected this for us, for we could not have done it by ourselves, and to our Lord that we will surely return." Then, he said, "O Allah, I ask You in this journey of mine from the righteousness and piety and actions that please You. O Allah, ease for us the path, and make near for us the distance of the land. O Allah, You are the companion in the journey, and the caretaker for the family. O Allah, accompany us in our journey, and take care of our families." And when he would return to his family, he would say: "[We are] Returning, if Allah wills, repenting, worshiping, and to our Lord directing the praise." Al-Biqai: 7/13.
Question: How can someone practice this verse?

Az-Zukhruf Verses 0 - 19

They showed disrespect to the angels who are close to Allah, and raised them from the status of humble servants to the status of partners to Allah in some of His unique attributes, then they brought them down from the status of male to female. Glory be to the One Who highlights the contradictions of those who tell lies against Him and oppose His Messengers. Al-Saadi: 764.
Question: The polytheists clearly contradict themselves. Explain.

Az-Zukhruf Verses 0 - 18

Being brought up in ornaments and soft life is considered infirmity, which is associated with women. Man should avoid that and resent it, as Omar (t) said: "Wear simple clothes, eat simple food, and emulate the way of life of Ma'd, [an Arab tribe that was known for its tough way of life]; and if some of you want to beautify himself, let him beautify his inside with piety." Al-Alusi: 25/99.
Question: Do ornament and soft living befit the man? Why?
