Ghafir Verses 0 - 28

Allah praises a man from the house of Pharaoh who concealed his faith, mentions him in His Book, and keeps his record in the Quran for words that he said in a sitting place of disbelief. How does he compare to Omar bin Al-Khattab (t) who waved his sword in Makkah, and said: "By Allah, I will never worship Allah in secret after today."Ibn Atiyah: 4/555.
Question: This verse indicates the virtues of the Prophet’s Companions. Explain.

Ghafir Verses 0 - 28

This saying from the believer was not because he doubted Moses’ mission and truthfulness, rather, he meant to make his point softly without provoking their evil actions. Al-Qurtubi: 18/348-349.
Question: Did the believer say what he said because he doubted Moses’ (u) truthfulness? What etiquette we may learn from this approach?

Ghafir Verses 0 - 28

He said, (some) and not "all", even though what will befall them is all that which he threatened them with, in order to be gentle with them in speech, guard against the notion of siding with Moses, and demonstrate his sincere advice to Pharaoh and his people hoping that they would accept the truth. Ibn Juzay: 2/280.
Question: The believer said, (some of what he is threatening you with), even though what will befall them is all that which he threatened them with. Why?

Ghafir Verses 0 - 30

Repeating his call to his people, without despairing of their ever being guided - which is the way of those who call people to Allah; they keep on calling people to their Lord and nothing deters them from that, for the arrogance of those whom they called does not deter them from persisting in calling them. Al-Saadi: 737.
Question: This verse has noble guidance to those who call others to Allah to not despair. Explain.

Ghafir Verses 0 - 32

Some people will be called among the wretched, and others will be called among the blissful; so-and-so will be in bliss where he will never see wretchedness ever, and so-and-so will be in wretchedness where he will never see bliss ever. When death is slaughtered, it will be called: "O people of Paradise! Eternity for you and no death, O people of Hell! Eternity for you and no death." Al-Baghawi: 4/42.
Question: The Day of Resurrection is called the Day of Calling. Why?
