An-Naml Verses 0 - 56

The punishment is implied in their last statement, for they are the people who said: (Drive the family of Lot out of your town, for they are a people who keep themselves pure), what this implies is: "You are immersing yourselves in evil and filth, which dictates that the punishment will befall your city, and that those who leave will be saved." Al-Saadi: 607.
Question: The statement of the people of Lot was the cause for their destruction. Explain.

An-Naml Verses 0 - 57

Meaning: She was one of those who were destroyed, with her people, because she was a helper to what they did, and she approved of their evil deeds. She told them about the guests of Lot so that they could come to them. She did not do the evil deeds herself, which was because of the honor of the Lot (u) and not because of any honor on her part. Ibn Kathir: 3/356.
Question: Why was Lot's wife destroyed? How did she subscribe to what her people were doing?

An-Naml Verses 0 - 59

After praising Allah, the Prophet (ﷺ) was enjoined to say greeting of peace upon the Messengers who preceded him as a tribute to them for their strive in spreading the true religion. Ibn Ashur: 20/6.
Question: After praising Allah, the Prophet (ﷺ) was enjoined to say greeting of peace upon the Messengers. Why?

An-Naml Verses 0 - 61

This is a great arrangement, and no one can grasp this amazing design until he realizes that this earth is moving through space constantly; nevertheless, it appears still to its inhabitants, which is even more amazing. This arrangement is a blessing and mercy, since if it were not still, people would be in shock and chaos, where nothing can be accomplished. Ibn Ashur: 20/13.
Question: How can we realize Allah's great arrangement for the earth?

An-Naml Verses 0 - 61

(And made a barrier between two flowing bodies of water), the salty water and the fresh water; He has placed a barrier between them to prevent the two types of water mixing, which would cause the benefits of each to be lost. Al-Saadi: 608.
Question: Why is there a barrier between two flowing bodies of water?

An-Naml Verses 0 - 62

The reason for responding to the desperate is his sincere turn toward Allah, and his abandonment of everything else. Allah informs us of his acceptance of the invocation of those who turn sincerely to Him, even if they were disbelievers; He says, (until when you are in the ships and they sail with those on board and rejoicing in a favorable wind, then suddenly a stormy wind comes, with waves crashing into them on all sides, and they feel that there is no escape. Then they cry out to Allah with sincere devotion to Him, "If You save us from this, we will surely be among those who are grateful") [10:22]. And says, (When they board a ship, they supplicate Allah, devoting their faith sincerely to Him. But as soon as He rescues them to the land, they associate partners with Him) [29:65]. So, Allah responded to them in their distress and sincerity, despite His knowledge that they will go back to their shirk. Al-Shawkani: 4/169.
Question: What is the reason for Allah’s answer to the supplication of the desperate despite his disbelief?

An-Naml Verses 0 - 62

Allah insures his response to the desperate, and He says so about Himself. The reason for that is the distress which induces sincerity to Him only, and abandonment of everything else. This sincerity is significant in the sight of Allah, whether it comes from a believer or a disbeliever, an obedient or a sinner. Al-Qurtubi: 16/193.
Question: Explain the outcome of the sincere supplication of Allah, the Almighty.
