Al-Hajj Verses 0 - 40

This is indicative of the wisdom behind Jihad, the purpose of which is to establish the religion of Allah, and stand up to those disbelievers who are persecuting the believers.Al-Saadi: 539.
Question: The verse points to one aspect of the wisdom behind ordaining Jihad. Explain.

Al-Hajj Verses 0 - 40

This verse reinforces the permission to fight, and reveals its benefit. It is as saying: If it was not for the fighting, the disbelievers would have dominated the Muslims and destroyed their religion. Ibn Juzay: 2/59.
Question: There is a great wisdom behind Jihad in that it preserves Islam. Explain.

Al-Hajj Verses 0 - 40

This indicates that the countries in which people feel safe to worship Allah, the mosques are maintained, and all the rituals of Islam are established, are part of the virtue resulting from the efforts of those who strive in Jihad, for by virtue of their blessed efforts Allah warded off the disbelievers from that country. Al-Saadi: 539.
Question: The Mujahidin do favors for Muslims. Explain.

Al-Hajj Verses 0 - 40

The meanings of these houses of worship are exclusive to the nations who had scriptures over a long time. No mention is made of Magians or polytheists, because they do not have what needs to be protected; moreover, the mention of Allah is only made by the people who were given divine Sharia. Ibn Atiyah: 4/125.
Question: This verse does not mention the houses of worship for Magians or polytheists. Why?

Al-Hajj Verses 0 - 40

Whoever performs these deeds, Allah will give him victory over his enemy. Ibn Taimyah: 4/434.
Question: What are the duties of Mujahidin when they are given authority in the land?

Al-Hajj Verses 0 - 46
