Ta-Ha Verses 0 - 14

(So worship Me): This refers to all kinds of worship, both visible and hidden, obligatory and supererogatory. Then He singles out prayer for mention - although it is included under the heading of worship - because of its virtue and high status, and because it is an act of worship that involves the heart, tongue, and physical faculties. Al-Saadi: 503.
Question: Why is prayer mentioned even though it is included in worship?

Allah asked Moses (u) about his staff only to show him his greatness in changing it into a snake; hence, the meaning of the question was to make Moses (u) confirm its existing condition, thus, he would realize the difference between its condition before and after it was turned into a snake. Ibn Juzay: 2/17.
Question: Allah asked Moses (u) about his staff even though He knows the secret and what is hidden. Why?

Ta-Ha Verses 24 - 26

When Moses (u) received the command, he did not question it, despite his fear of Pharoh's transgression, rather, he asked for Allah's help in providing him with the means to deliver the message in an eloquent and convincing manner. Ibn Ashur: 16/210.
Question: Explain the Prophets' (p) promptness in submitting to and accepting Allah's command.

Ta-Ha Verses 0 - 25

Meaning: Expand and relax my chest so that I may bear with patience any offense in word and deed, and I would not be distressed by that or feel anxious. For if a person feels distressed and anxious, he will not be fit to call people for guidance. Al-Saadi: 504.
Question: This verse encourages preachers to ask Allah to remove distress from them before engaging in calling others to Him. Explain

Ta-Ha Verses 25 - 26

Moses (u) asked Allah to widen his heart for the truth so that he would be certain that no one can harm him except with the permission of Allah. When he attained that knowledge, he would never fear Pharaoh with all of his tyranny, and numerous soldiers.Al-Baghawi: 3/119.
Question: When calling others to Allah, what was the way of the Prophets in tackling big concerns and intense obstacles?

Ta-Ha Verses 27 - 28

This refers to the lisp he had, which resulted from an incident when he was presented a date and a hot coal stone, and he placed the coal on his tongue instead of the date. However, he did not ask Allah to completely remove this affliction, rather, he asked for removal of his stammering, and people would understand the intended message in his speech. He was only asking for what was necessary to deliver his message. If he had asked for the removal of his affliction in its entirety, it would have been cured for him. However, the Prophets do not ask for anything more than what is needed. Ibn Kathir: 3/143.
Question: The verse contains a Prophetic etiquette in invoking Allah for worldly needs. What is it?
