An-Nahl Verses 0 - 96

مَا عِندَكُمۡ يَنفَدُ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ بَاقٖۗ

Hence, give precedence to what will abide over what will cease to be, for whatever you have, even if you have a great deal, will inevitably come to an end and will perish, but what Allah has is everlasting as He is, so it will never cease to be or perish. Therefore, he is not wise who gives precedence to what is transient and insignificant over what will abide and is precious. This offers encouragement to be uninterested in worldly matters, especially the disinterest in what is harmful. Al-Saadi: 448-449.
Question: For a wise Muslim, what lesson can be learned from this verse?

An-Nahl Verses 0 - 97

مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنٞ فَلَنُحۡيِيَنَّهُۥ حَيَوٰةٗ طَيِّبَةٗۖ

Therefore, faith is a condition of the validity and acceptance of righteous deeds. In fact, a deed cannot be called righteous unless it is done on the basis of faith, and the faith which inspires one to do good deeds is certain faith that leads to physical actions, both obligatory and recommended. Al-Saadi: 449.
Question: Allah stipulates faith as a condition for accepting righteous deeds. Why?

An-Nahl Verses 0 - 97

مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنٞ فَلَنُحۡيِيَنَّهُۥ حَيَوٰةٗ طَيِّبَةٗۖ وَلَنَجۡزِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٩٧

Allah links happiness (good life) to faith and doing righteous deeds. Ibn Taimyah: 4/176.
Question: In this verse, happiness is linked to two things, what are they?

An-Nahl Verses 0 - 98

فَإِذَا قَرَأۡتَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ فَٱسۡتَعِذۡ بِٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ ٩٨

The reason for seeking refuge with Allah before reciting is that the reader should not get confused or mixed up, and that satan would not confuse him or stop him from thinking about and reflecting on the meaning of what he recites. Ibn Kathir: 2/566.
Question: The verse mentions a good way to help the reader reflect on the Holy Quran?

An-Nahl Verses 0 - 99

إِنَّهُۥ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ سُلۡطَٰنٌ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ ٩٩

It means that satan has no power over the believers, and cannot misguide them. Ibn Juzay: 1/473.
Question: What are the traits that you should attain so that satan cannot have power over you?

An-Nahl Verses 0 - 99

إِنَّهُۥ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ سُلۡطَٰنٌ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ ٩٩

Sufyan Al-Thawri said: "satan has no power to make the believers commit a sin that they will not repent from." Ibn Kathir: 2/566.
Question: What is the negated authority of satan over the believers?

An-Nahl Verses 0 - 99

إِنَّهُۥ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ سُلۡطَٰنٌ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ ٩٩

The negation of satan's power is conditional upon two things: Faith and reliance upon Allah. Ibn Ashur: 14/278.
Question: What prevents satan from having power over man?
