ﭚ ﭛ ﭜ ﭝ ﭞ ﭟ ﭠ ﭡ ﭢ ﭣ
ﭤ ﭥ ﭦ ﭧ ٦٠ ٦٠ ﭩ ﭪ ﭫ ﭬ ﭭ
ﭮ ﭯ ﭰ ﭱ ﭲ ﭳ ﭴ ﭵ ﭶ
ﭷ ﭸ ﭹ ﭺ ٦١ ٦١ ﭼ ﭽ ﭾ ﭿ ﮀ ﮁ ﮂ
ﮃ ﮄ ﮅ ﮆ ﮇ ﮈ ٦٢ ٦٢ ﮊ ﮋ ﮌ ﮍ
ﮎ ﮏ ﮐ ﮑ ﮒ ﮓ ﮔ ﮕ ﮖ
ﮗ ﮘ ﮙ ﮚ ٦٣ ٦٣ ﮜ ﮝ ﮞ ﮟ ﮠ ﮡ ﮢ
ﮣ ﮤ ﮥ ٦٤ ٦٤ ﮧ ﮨ ﮩ ﮪ ﮫ ﮬ ﮭ ﮮ ﮯ
ﮰ ﮱ ﯓ ﯔ ﯕ ﯖ ﯗ ﯘ ﯙ ﯚ
ﯛ ﯜ ﯝ ﯞ ﯟ ﯠ ﯡ ﯢ ﯣ ٦٥ ٦٥ ﯥ
ﯦ ﯧ ﯨ ﯩ ﯪ ﯫ ﯬ ﯭ ﯮ ٦٦ ٦٦ ﯰ ﯱ
ﯲ ﯳ ﯴ ﯵ ٦٧ ٦٧ ﯷ ﯸ ﯹ ﯺ ﯻ ﯼ
ﯽ ﯾ ﯿ ﰀ ﰁ ﰂ ﰃ ﰄ ﰅ ﰆ
ﰇ ﰈ ﰉ ﰊ ﰋ ﰌ ﰍ ﰎ ٦٨ ٦٨
وَهُوَ أَسۡرَعُ ٱلۡحَٰسِبِينَ ٦٢
Allah is the Swiftest Reckoner because of His perfect knowledge, and His keeping of their deeds in the Preserved Tablet, then it is written again by the angels in the records that they keep. Al-Saadi: 259.
Question: Allah's greatness is manifested in Him being the Swiftest Reckoner. Explain.
قُلۡ مَن يُنَجِّيكُم مِّن ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ تَدۡعُونَهُۥ تَضَرُّعٗا وَخُفۡيَةٗ لَّئِنۡ أَنجَىٰنَا مِنۡ هَٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ ٦٣
(We will certainly be among those who are grateful), gratitude is recognizing Allah's favor, and fulfilling one's duty toward Him. Al-Baghawi: 2/30.
Question: How can one attain a full gratitude for Allah's favors?
قُلۡ مَن يُنَجِّيكُم مِّن ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ تَدۡعُونَهُۥ تَضَرُّعٗا وَخُفۡيَةٗ لَّئِنۡ أَنجَىٰنَا مِنۡ هَٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ ٦٣ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُنَجِّيكُم مِّنۡهَا وَمِن كُلِّ كَرۡبٖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمۡ تُشۡرِكُونَ ٦٤
Allah rebukes them for invoking Him during hardship, then when in comfort, they associate others with Him. Al-Qurtubi: 8/412.
Question: The polytheists contradiction is clear in this verse. Explain in light of this verse.
أَوۡ يَلۡبِسَكُمۡ شِيَعٗا وَيُذِيقَ بَعۡضَكُم بَأۡسَ بَعۡضٍۗ
(Or split you into factions), it is said that Allah will split you into different groups, fighting each other, by effecting disagreement among your leaders over worldly gains and that what is meant by this verse, (and make you suffer at the hands of one another) through war and killing during turmoil. Al-Qurtubi: 8/414.
Question: How is a society punished by splitting it into factions?
وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيۡرِهِۦۚ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ فَلَا تَقۡعُدۡ بَعۡدَ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٦٨
If satan made you forget this prohibited company of wrongdoers, then do not remain with them after remembering that. Ibn Juzay: 1/274.
Question: What is your advice to one who sits with those who ridicule verses of Allah under the pretense of awareness and enlightenment?
وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيۡرِهِۦۚ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ فَلَا تَقۡعُدۡ بَعۡدَ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٦٨
Whoever ridicules the verses of Allah, whether a believer or a disbeliever, must be abandoned. Al-Qurtubi: 8/419.
Question: What must be our stance on one who promotes doubts and religious innovations?
وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ فَلَا تَقۡعُدۡ بَعۡدَ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٦٨
Failing to remember to do the right thing is from satan as Allah says, (If satan should make you forget, then as soon as you remember, do not remain with the wrongdoing people).
Ibn Taimyah: 3/32.
Question: How does one forget to do the right thing?
