Allah, the Almighty, will take vengeance on those who transgress and forget that they are slaves of Him. Al-Biqai: 2/61.
Question: What is inferred from this verse: (And Allah warns you of Himself)?
Allah reiterates the admonition to fear Him, out of kindness and mercy toward us, lest our hearts become hard with the passage of time. This is a combination between encouragement that leads to hope and righteous deeds and warnings that lead to fear of Allah and abandoning sins. Al-Saadi: 128.
Question: In this verse, Allah reiterates the admonition to fear Him. Why?
This noble verse is a ruling on those who claim to love Allah, yet they do not follow the way of Muhammad (r). Such people are not true in their claim until they follow the Sharia of Muhammad (r) and his religion in their words and actions. Ibn Kathir: 1/338.
Question: This verse indicates the importance of verifying the authenticity of the Hadiths of the Prophet. Explain.
This is because the Messenger is the one who calls to all things loved by Allah, and everything loved by Allah is enjoined by the Messenger (r); therefore, Allah's love and the messenger's call are inseparable. Ibn Taimyah: 2/60.
Question: Why is following the Messenger (r) a sign of being loved by Allah?
This indicates that opposing the Messenger's way is disbelief. Indeed, Allah does not love anyone who is described as such, even if he claims that he loves Allah and seeks to draw closer to Him, until he follows the unlettered Prophet, the final Messenger (r). Ibn Kathir: 1/338.
Question: There is a big risk in opposing the Messenger's (r) way. Explain.
It indicates that the male is made to exceed the female, that naming of the child is required at the time of birth, and that the mother may name the child if the father does not object. Al-Saadi: 129.
Question: List some beneficial points from this verse?
It indicates that this provision from Allah is a continuous and immeasurable gift. It is a provision that cannot be tracked, and the greatest gratitude for the provision of Allah is for the servant to acknowledge that it is from Him. Al-Biqai: 2/75.
Question: What the greatest gratitude for the provision of Allah?
