Al-Imran Verses 0 - 23

Whoever turns away from the truth while he is fully aware of it, Allah will take away his knowledge as if he were never aware of it. Al-Alusi: 3/50.
Question: What is the significance of describing those who were given the Scripture as turning away in aversion?

Al-Imran Verses 0 - 24

Their indifference toward following the truth because of their belief that they will be safe from Allah's punishment emboldened them to commit such a disregard. Ibn Ashur: 3/211.
Question: What is the consequence of the arrogant believing that Hellfire will only touch them for a few days?

Al-Imran Verses 0 - 27

This is the greatest evidence of Allah's power, and that all things are subjugated and controlled, and they do not possess any control over anything. The fact that Allah creates opposites, and creates some things from their opposites indicates that all things are subjugated. Al-Saadi: 127.
Question: How does the verse indicate the perfection of Allah's power and the weakness of the creatures?

Al-Imran Verses 0 - 28

It is confirmed that anything that is conventionally highly regarded and considered by Muslims as alliance with the disbelievers is indeed forbidden, particularly when weak Muslims are affected by it. Al-Alusi: 3/120.
Question: What is the type of alliance with disbelievers that is forbidden?

Al-Imran Verses 0 - 29

This is a threat from Allah that He is all-Knowing and Most Capable of punishing them. A threat cannot be fulfilled if one of these two things is present: Ignorance of the criminal's crime, or inability to punish him. Therefore, when Allah informed them of his comprehensive knowledge and omnipotence, they knew that He would not let them escape his punishment. Ibn Ashur: 3/222.
Question: In this verse, Allah combines His knowledge and capability. Why?

Al-Imran Verses 0 - 29

This is a warning from Allah to His servants that they do not commit what He has forbidden and disliked, for He knows all their affairs, and is able to hasten their punishment. When He gives respite to some of them, He delays their punishment, but He is swift and Mighty in taking account. Ibn Kathir: 1/338.
Question: What does a Muslim gain from being aware of Allah's unlimited knowledge and capability?

Al-Imran Verses 0 - 29

This contains guidance for purifying hearts and being mindful of Allah's knowledge at all times, so that the servant will be ashamed before his Lord to see his heart as a place for every bad thought. Rather, he should occupy his thoughts with what brings him closer to Allah, such as contemplating a verse from the Quran or a Hadith of the Messenger of Allah, or thinking and researching knowledge that may benefit him, contemplating the creation and blessings of Allah, or offering sincere advice to Allah's servants. Al-Saadi: 128.
Question: What should be your attitude when you know that Allah is aware of what is in your heart at all times?
