Since taking a son is considered an imperfection of Allah, who is of necessary existence, therefore, after their statement, He says, (Exalted is He), exalting Himself above that.Taking a son originates from the need to fulfill a temporary shortage when missing a son. Ibn Ashur: 17/50.

Al-Anbiya Verses 0 - 34

The reason for revealing this verse is that the disbelievers criticize the mortality of the Prophet (ﷺ). Moreover, it is said that they wished for his death in order to gloat over him, and this interpretation is more in line with the next verse. Ibn Juzay: 2/36.
Question: How does the Quran respond to those who criticize the Prophet (ﷺ) for being a mortal human?

Al-Anbiya Verses 0 - 35

This verse highlights the falsehood of the view of those who say that Al-Khidr is still alive and that he is immortal in this world. This is a view for which there is no proof and it is contrary to the Sharia evidence. Al-Saadi: 523.
Question: Some people claim that Al-Khidr is immortal in this life. What do you think?

Al-Anbiya Verses 0 - 35

(And We test you with evil and with good as a trial), We test you with poverty and richness, with health and sickness, and other things in this worldly life, so that your patience would show during affliction, and your gratitude would show during the blessing; or other than that may show up. Ibn Juzay: 2/36.
Question: What is the wisdom behind diversifying the test through evil and good?

Al-Anbiya Verses 0 - 35

Ibn Zayd said: "It means: We test them with what they like and dislike; We test them to see their gratitude in what they like, and their patience in what they dislike." Al-Tabari: 18/440.
Question: How is testing with good and evil carried out?
