If this was their attitude toward their own Scripture, then it should come as no surprise that the Jews would not believe in the Quran which Allah has revealed to you, and would have grave doubt concerning it. Al-Saadi: 390.

This indicates abandoning the disbelievers and wrongdoers such as the religious innovators and others, since being in their company may lead to disbelief, for true friendship comes as a result of affection. Al-Qurtubi: 11/226.
Question: What is the duty of the believer when it comes to selecting friends and companions?

Hud Verses 0 - 113

If this warning has to do with inclining toward the wrongdoers, then what about the wrongdoers themselves? We ask Allah to keep us safe and sound from wrongdoing. Al-Saadi: 391.
Question: This verse contains a great warning to the wrongdoers. How can we infer that?

Hud Verses 0 - 114

The prayer is mentioned here since it is the second pillar of Islam, and it is the one thing that Muslims turn to during crisis. Moreover, when anything distressed the Prophet (ﷺ) he hastened to the prayer. Al-Qurtubi: 11/227.
Question: Explain the great importance of the prayer in light of this verse.

Hud Verses 0 - 115

After commanding them to be firm on the right course and not incline toward the wrongdoers, Allah commands them to be patient since observing these commands entails great hardship and they go against the desires of many people. So, it is fitting to command patience with all hardships, as suitable to each. Ibn Ashur: 12/182.
Question: Allah commands patience after His command to be firm on the right course. Why?
